Grim Patrol

++Hi Please read the description section ^_^ Also thanks for clicking++

The moon was full the night the first round was fired during the Guerra Nieve Roja. It has been at least 5 years since then, many people have been lost, many people forced to leave their homes, prisoners of war captured, killed, all these causalities are an everyday occurrence now and memories of what peace once was have faded some time ago. The countries Tormenta, Aguanieve, Lluvia are against the other countries Granizo, Hielo, and Gotita. No one is sure who is right in this war only that it has gone on far too long.

But in the background of this war is yet another war, the one that has always been going on, the war of life and death. The Grim Reaper cannot do this battle alone though, he has not only his reapers but a group of humans known as demon hunters. These demon hunters are given the choice to either pass on or fight to live. Each demon death is another year they are allowed to live. But they are not alone, working in groups often and overseen by a reaper, usually one who doesn't much care for them. Their daily struggle to survive is usually all that matters. This battle is unseen, this burden is for their eyes alone or so they think....

Episode 1:

A girl with very wavy black hair stepped outside admiring the darken sky. She pulled her blue coat around her and tugged on her white shorts. It was early night the moon had just risen and was a wondrous giant orb in the sky. This world was more night then day and for that reason the people woke with the moon and slept hidden away from the sun. She had all the belongings she could carry, some people had already left but she wanted to be the last person to leave. This had been her home for many years. She was going to miss it. She took in a breath and let it out, the visible little cloud dissipated. She pulled her crème colored scarf a bit tight and made sure her blue coat was buttoned. Off in the distance she could see the lights of the military moving in taking over the homes. She sighed starting off slowly her feet crunching on the recent snow fall. “My parents had given me a large sum of their payment for their home so when I got to the next town I should be fine for a long while before getting a job.” She told herself. She began to hum to herself a song she remembered from a movie. Not much longer after though she heard a sound a few streets over. She stopped completely and listened. She should have been all alone now. “Who else is here?” she said to herself quietly.

A short distance away but out of sight of the girl with dark wavy hair, two boys ran thru the fresh snow they appeared to be mirror reflections of one another. Jet black hair peppered with strips of brightly colored hair one for each color of the rainbow. They had an athletic build to their body, which were clad in all black. Both had an eye obscured by some bangs left fairly long. One huffed "That tricky bastard has to be around here somewhere." The other sighed "Calling him a bastard isn't going to make it any easier to find him, Sua. Let’s stop running and gather ourselves." They both halted. “Whatever you say Fide.” Sua said a bit annoyed. Around both of their arms was a large thick black rope.  Fide listened eyes closed as Sua looked around the immediate area. Fide frowned "I think he is pretty far away now." Sua nodded "I don't see any tracks, what a bummer" Fide shook his head "We aren't going to let him get away, let’s see if we can pick something up." Sua sighed and nodded "Sure sure" they started off slowly.

A distorted voice snickered eerily behind the girl. His fingers playing along the length of her arms. His nose sniffing up her neck. "Mmmhm yes, you will do well. Sweet, like an innocent child. My favorite. Just keep quite my dear, or you could get hurt." The distorted male voice chuckled again.

The girl with dark wavy hair felt a shiver run down her spine. She couldn’t see her captor but took them as some sort of criminal. She spoke "T..The military is going to be here soon. They...they will hear me if I scream." She was hoping her frighten voice was enough to have her captor drop his guard. She quickly held her backpack tight swinging it at the man. She ran to a nearby house to try and find something to defend herself. The Demon let the bag hit him, but didn’t let it stumble him for long. He ran after the girl with haste. The demon ripped off two of its own fingers they shifted into smaller versions of the demon. The demon cried out “Kill her! Eat her!" The little demons laughed in an even higher pitched and distorted voices and hurried to catch the girl.

Fide frowned his eyes opened wide "Do you hear that? I think the demon is after someone." he ran faster. Sua kept up "Shit, I thought everyone cleared out here yesterday!"

The demon reached for her arm, trying to pull her close. "Come here my little dear." The demon said with a laugh. The girl had gotten inside. Her heart was racing “What am I seeing?” She thought to herself in a small panic. The little demons had caught her legs but she swung them into walls and broke free. She scrambled into a nearby room and found a discarded baseball bat. She quickly swung it at the next thing that tried to come into the room. "Get away from me!" she cried out

The demon dodged and laughed more, his whole left hand became little people. Soon after they jumped from his hand and started to go after her, climbing up her leg. The demon was merely avoiding the swings, trying to keep her distracted long enough so they could hold her down.

She continued to swing "Get away! Get away!" She cried out. “This feels like a nightmare…I’m trapped!” She thought. She could only hope she could hold off until someone could help her. She hoped to hear the shouts of soldiers for once in her life.  The demon moved around quickly, getting behind her, taking a lamp and struck her across the head with it. "STOP SQUIRMING! I hate squirming food." It shouted. Everything went black for her. She felt a horrible pain then nothing.

Fide and Sua slid on the ice outside the home "Silence...never a good sign." Fide started in. Sua brought up the rear, both had their section of the rope ready. They carefully walked to the room their steps silent.

The demon gave another laugh. "Yes, yes this, this is good." He had caught the girl in his hands, to make sure his food wasn't damaged before he got any. His hand ran through her hair, the little finger people returning to his hand, the fingers went back to normal. He then continued what he had started, sniffing her, licking her face and neck, getting a taste before he would devour her completely.

Fide stood in the door way "Demon, you drop that girl now. You are in violation of the demon human contract and you must stop." Sua stayed silent it was best that it didn't know both of them were there...or that his brother was actually weird enough to recite the code.

The demon laughed hysterically. "Your codes mean nothing to me boy. The girl does however, does she also mean something to you. If she dies, it’s a terrible rap for you right?" He laughed, holding you up in his arms. "Get close, come on, I don't mind eating off the floor. I'm not ashamed."

"I will have to use force then." Fide swung his portion of the rope toward the demon. Sua got ready. The demon tried dodging but felt the rope wrap around it. So instead it freed all of its fingers to the ground. They became people and started attacking Fide, try to crawling up his leg. Sua swept in quickly using his part to smash away the smaller finger demons. The little demons squealed as they were crushed. "Fuck this is creepy!" The demon himself cried out with a high pitched scream as each was killed. Fide huffed "Help me pull him away!" Fide started to pull toward the door he wanted more room to fight and he wanted the demon away from the girl. Sua began to pull now that all the finger demons were smashed and broken.

The demon fought the pull but felt his feet sliding across the floor. He kept the girl under his arm, holding tight.”I’ll bite her neck!” He threatened, arching his body close to the girl wanting to get the hunters to back off. Fide wrapped part of the rope around the table and held firm "Do it Sua" Sua moved with his length toward the demon to try and wrap the rope around his neck.

The demon’s eyes turned deep red his hand regenerating now. He threw the girl to the ground, snapping the rope around him and dodged the one going for his neck. He then ran at them both. Throwing his hands towards them, even smaller finger demons flew out, landing on their faces and chests. They then pulled out little bone swords and started using them to attack the hunters. The big demon picked up the bat the girl had used and started to swing.

Fide gasped trying to pull the smaller demons off. Sua did the same "shit shit shit!" He yelled. The girl stirred feeling a wetness in her hair "wh.." everything blurred for her, she thought she saw something, something horrible before her. The demon swung the bat at the hunters. "Die humans!"

Suddenly a woman with very long dark grey hair in a black and blood red dress appeared from a black abyssal hole in the ceiling. Descending down carefully, an intricate scythe in hand. Though to humans, ones not having their souls taken, saw it only as a delicate ritual staff in gold. She knelt down, helping support the girl as she sat up. She was a fair bit taller than the girl. "Take it easy; knocks to the head can be deadly. I don't want to come here just to leave with you." The woman gave a sweet smile.

The girl stared at the woman her vision coming into focus. Just when she started to piece together what had occurred she noticed the men suffer "no no!" She pushed away from the woman. The girl felt something suddenly appearing in her own hands. She thought it was the bat not realizing that whatever the creature was now had it. She swung the object in her hands; it was a rake "Get away from them!" She cried out.

The demon felt a rake claw and rip his back. He screeched out in a horrific manner, facing her, he started for her. The mysterious woman just watched “This girl has potential.” She thought to herself rather intrigued.

Sua managed to stomp out the little demons on him he quickly helped Fide finish off the demons on him. They took up their rope once more though now stared at the girl rather outstanded. The girl swung again aiming for its eyes.  She didn't know what kind of nightmare this way but she wasn't going to let people die, even if this turned out to be in her head. The demon fought back greatly, trying to summon forth more of his finger demons but felt himself weakening. He let out a high pitched and eerie yell as he felt himself slipping away. He felt the rake clawing at his eyes like it had for his back. The mysterious woman stood sort of leaning on her scythe, watching with care. “Yes, great potential.” She mummered.

Sua and Fide came out of their daze they threw out their rope looping it like a nose around his neck and both ran in oposite direction until they heard the snap.

The demon died, his body going to dust but leaving a glowing orb floating in the air. The mysterious woman walked over, reaching out her bandaged hand, taking the orb in it. She closed her hand, there was a sort of popping like sound but it was soft. The orb was gone; a dark mist swarmed her hand for a few seconds then seemed to be absorbed within her arm. A black gauntlet appeared out of nowhere around her once bandaged arm. She looked to the boys. "You almost look rusty." She joked.

Sua huffed "Yeah whatever we still got it" Fide was staring at the girl. She was catching her breath a bit in shock with what she just saw. “I’m not waking up.” She said out loud as a bit of blood started to run down her face. Fide looked to mysterious woman "Rain…..did she die?" he frowned. The girl slowly started to go on her knees "What...what's going on?" Sua frowned he hurried over to her and helped her up again "We are going to have to take her to Doc either way" he was rather confused but was more concerned for the girl than anything else.

The mysterious woman now known as Rain nodded. "Alright, get her to him." She looked to Fide. "She's still alive; you got here in time if that is what you mean?"

Fide frowned "but how did she use a weapon just now. You know something don't you?" Sua sighed "We should really get her to Doc she's bleeding rather nasty." Fide was a bit surprised by this Sua usually wasn't so adamant. Fide shook his head "Right right" he grabbed a towel from the counter and held her head "Doc should be close by can you open a portal for us Rain? I know it's not regulation for a living human but its best we not wait."

Rain nodded “Yeah I can do that." she held up her scythe, made a circle motion in the air and a black portal opened. "Everyone in, you know the rules, it closes once I'm through."

Sua and Fide helped the girl thru. The girl looked to Sua weakly "Th..this is real?" he frowned "Yeah, just relax I’m sure this will make sense soon." Fide kept the pressure on he was carrying the rake as well now. When they got out of the darkness they were behind a hospital building. Sua took out his phone "Yo doc, we need you now." he hung up. Fide frowned "This may be a desperate time but you should still have manners.” Sua shrugged. The door opened in back and they continued herding her along. A tall thin older looking man was there he looked around his late 40s. His hair was brown but peppered with a few light grey strands. "She's a live one…" he was rather surprised. "Come hurry." he had them place her on a gurney and hurried her to a procedure room. Fide and Sua stayed behind waiting for Rain. They wanted answers.

Rain stepped through, the portal disappearing once she was out. "Waiting for me?" She sighed. "And it’s not for formalities, its answers right?" She took in a breath. "Alright, first question?"
"How did she get a weapon?" Fide spoke. Sua crossed his arms he didn't mind his own wounds and the blood on his hand though, he found himself worried about the girl.

Doc worked on the back of her head he already had her on a morphine drip "You are one lucky girl" he sighed and shook his head having got the bleeding to stop. "Better make sure you stay alive though, I'm so use to working on the undead I forget the heart monitor..." He moved around to the front of the girl and opened her shirt. He tensed though seeing the birthmark on her back. It was shaped almost like a scythe. The girl looked to him a little red, she knew he was professional but she was still faintly embarrassed. “Is something wrong?” He began to attach the nodes trying to play off his concern. The monitor began to register her heart "Still alive..." he mumbled then shook his head again and then got back to work "this is getting stranger and stranger." He sighed. The girl frowned but was growing less worried as the medicine set in.

Rain smiled "Well the only times this happens is in special cases. Born alive haven't died." She was being sarcastic. "For her it’s her parents. They were demon hunters. Like you two, only they both were a couple and they had a child. That act is forbidden as you know but that's what happened." Rain answered truthfully and serious this time. "By the way, don't do that, it’s strictly forbidden. I say this not because I have a problem but my superiors do." Rain didn't want them to meet the same fate required by those who broke this rule.

Sua and Fide exchanged glances. Sua spoke up now "So...what is she like dead alive or something?" Fide put his hand onto his face and sighed "I think he means what does that make her exactly then?"

Doc managed to sew the girl up he was giving her a small blood transfusion to make sure she didn't get anemic as well. He carefully stroked her hair "You’re safe for now, but i have a feeling Mr. Grim will like to see you soon." The girl was unconscious now and resting. Doc watched the heart monitor for any changes.

"She's a very powerful living human." Rain said with a small smirk but serious. "I'm not sure they have a name for them since to my knowledge anyone who breaks this rule loses their child as well as their lives. They either don't know she is alive, or there is something about her they felt was worth keeping around." Sua frowned "We aren't going to kill her or something right?" Fide sighed "I’m sure something like that would have been mentioned and she would have prevented us from getting her to Doc" Sua rubbed the back of his head "Right.." Fide shook his head "We should probably go check on her now and get fixed up ourselves. The kill went down for us right?"

Rain nodded. "It was accepted, even with her intervention. Get fixed up first, and then feel free to check on her. I don't want either of you dying on me." She gave a grin. "I'll wait for you both in the lobby. I'm sure death, is the last person she wants to see. Or rather a servant of him." She started off.

Sua smirked "A girl like that seems to be born from death." Fide just stared at him. Sua frowned "what too soon?" He sighed and shook his head heading inside to see Doc. Sua hurried to catch up "jeez slow down."

*3 hours later*

The girl slowly woke up feeling someone touch her head "Oh there she goes." She swatted the hand away then looked around she saw two men sitting in the corner of the room. They looked fairly normal save for a few bandages on them. She then the doctor who was above her. "Oh...sorry." She winced feeling the pain on the back of her head. He sighed and placed her hand over her stomach "Relax you’re safe" he smiled "You’re very lucky these boys got you here when they did. You lost a good bit of blood from the crack to the head." The girl tensed "oh" She frowned “Was that dream real?...no it couldn't be…” She thought to herself. She looked to the boys they looked very familiar. "Thank you." Fide nodded Sua smiled. She looked to the doctor "Am i going to be ok?" he nodded

She gave a sigh of relief "Well thank you all, but I really don't know how long I can stay here...mostly because I'm not sure where I am at but also because I need to get a new home." Doc shook his head "Don't worry about that right now." He sighed "There is more pressing matters at hand." The girl frowned "Well am I ok enough to leave today?" Doc nodded "Of course but we need to talk to you about something." He looked to Sua and Fide. Fide stood up and closed the door. Doc looked to the girl as she sat up. Her black hair was stiff from the blood and there was still a few spots of blood on the hospital gown covering her upper body. Her blue sweater hanging nearby was stiff and off in color from the blood it had soaked in. Doc spoke figuring it was best to just say what needed to be said. "I know this is going to sound strange but your parents were demon hunters, you are a demon hunter yourself these boys here hunt demons and I use to as well."

The girl stared at him, he frowned and took her hand in his worried she was about to be upset. The girl slowly started to smile then finally laughed everyone was caught off guard. "That's funny, was that a test to see if my brain wasn't scrambled or are you just trying to get me in a better mood?" Doc frowned "What...no I’m serious." The girl shook my head a little, not too much since it still hurt a bit "You’re joking with me, that's all fine and good but I really need to find a home and a job so if you boys don't mind I need to get dressed ok." Fide tried to speak up "But…" The girl pointed to the door "Thank you again for bringing me here but I really don't have much time for jokes." Sua smirked "I like her." She smiled at him. Doc sighed and herded the boys out.

The girl started getting dressed.”That was a strange thing to hear i wonder why they would joke like that?” She wondered to herself. She frowned feeling the dried blood in her hair. She looked around and found one of her bags. She was thankful they had gathered her things for her. She got a scarf out and wrapped it around her head a little. She felt a bit tired and worn out but since he doctor had said she was good to go she didn’t want to waste any more time.

*outside the room*

Doc crossed his arms "well that could have gone better." Fide huffed "She's a bit pushy." Sua smirked "I like her, she wasn't going to take shit from you two." Fide sighed.

Rain suddenly appeared through a dark misty hole; She had been outside but looked perfectly dry, despite the heavy rain out the windows. "You're really going to give up? Come on, I thought you were better than that Fide?"

"Persistence is one thing but she seems rather adamant that what she experience didn't happen. Besides what business of ours would it be to tell her what she is? Being a demon hunter is a choice isn't it?" Fide was feeling a bit burned by all of this

Sua smirked "He has a point, besides we should be out hunting more demons I think it's best up to you Ms. Rain to do the convincing."

Doc rubbed his eyes a bit "They have a bit of a point, really I’m retired now this should be beyond my problem."

The girl opened the door and bowed to them a little "Thank you for helping me" She gave Fide a slip of paper with her name and cell phone number "Stay in touch ok i want to take you both out to dinner sometime to thank you both." She waved to the doctor "You to ok." The girl smiled at Rain figuring she were dressed in the black and white dress and dark cloak as part of the test they were doing earlier "Nice dress" The girl started off down the hall. She already liked this town “These people were silly but very very nice.” She thought

“Dress?" Rain looked down at what I was wearing then looked back up Fide and Sua. "If only that's what it was." She gave a laugh. "At least she has good taste." She smirked at Fide. "Remember, you can't mate with her." Rain gave a small laugh and started out. "Back to hunting." Fide huffed "I wasn't thinking that" Sua cooed "of course not." Fide sighed and looked to Rain "What are we going to do with her weapon?"

Doc shrugged "Leave it here if she needs it, it will find its way to her." Fide handed it over it appeared to become faint almost like it was a shadow. Doc stored it away in his office.  “Take care you three.” Doc went back into his office as the three left.

Fide started out of the hospital’s front doors "Lets go Sua we still need to collect one more for tonight" Sua sighed "fine fine" he followed the rain felt onto both of them but they didn’t seem bothered by it.

The girl had opened her umbrella and started out sometime ago. She was walking down the street. It was still dark out which was good. “I didn’t lose too much of my night after all that.” She smiled “Luckily this hospital visit used my insurance to.” She sighed “The only problem now is finding a place to stay.” She looked around the streets there was people here and there but the rainy weather kept many indoors even if it was midnight. She continued along for some time finding many places had no vacancy.

“You still having the home issue?" Rain asked with a grin. She walked in the rain, uncovered, it always felt nice to her, besides she didn't get sick. She still got cold though. Her dress was now one that was black, grey and blue. The girl tensed and sighed "You’re the woman with those men....what do you want?" She was a bit surprised how easily she had been snuck up on. “I  was just wondering if you had a place to stay? I didn't hear you mention that you were going home. So I thought I'd ask, if you need, I have a place you can stay for the night." Rain said with a smile. "Oh really?" The girl was a bit hesitant. “It’s a bit odd to get a sudden offer like that..” she thought to herself. She wanted to be sure she wasn't going to get into some bad situation "Are you a friend of those men?" She decided to ask. Rain nodded. "You could say that. I was there when you regained conscious earlier. Look I know this feels weird and you have every right to be suspicious of a stranger offering something like this. But I promise, you'll be safe. I just want to make sure you have a place to stay, this rain isn't going to let up anytime soon. And I'd feel bad if you slept in it outside and got sick."

The girl frowned "You don't need to fuss so much i would have gotten a hotel" She smiled a little now satisfied with what she felt was honest concern from Rain "but i suppose it wouldn't hurt to give your place a try...do you want to get something to eat first? Whatever i managed to hurt myself on sort of took a lot out of me and I could use some food in my stomach."

Rain nodded “Sure, where did you feel like going?" The girl shrugged "I've never been to this city before, I'm not entirely sure how far we are from my home, do you know any good places?"

Rain nodded. "I know a few, follow me." She started to walk, the place she was thinking of, was only three blocks away. "You don't mind walking do you?"

The girl smiled "i was planning on walking out of my town to the next town over, I'm sure i can handle where you are taking me." She followed “Then again i didn't plan on having blunt trauma to my head so hopefully this place wasn't too far.” She thought. She looked to Rain as she walked beside her “You don’t mind the rain?” She offered to have her go under her umbrella. Rain smiled and shook her head “Not at all.” The girl gave a small smile and kept herself under the umbrella; the woman was strange but seemed friendly.  Rain spoke again “So all this time and I still don’t know your name.” The girl perked up “Oh…I didn’t know your name either. I’m Sahara Wahild.” She smiled. Rain nodded “You can just call me Rain.” Sahara laughed “How fitting.” Rain laughed a little as well.

They soon came up on the restaurant. A nice sit down like place, Rain held the door open for her. "After you." She special ring on her finger clicked slightly against the door. It held her hidden scythe it allowed her to summon it whenever she needed. More importantly, it allowed her to hide it from humans not meant to see it, just yet atleast.

Sahara walked in someone asked to take her scarf and coat but she refused just giving them her umbrella. With her hair and clothes were still a bit bloody and she didn't want to scare anyone, besides she was a bit cold. Rain walked in after her, as soon as she was out of the rain, it looked as though she was instantly dry. The waiter smiled "Table for two?" Rain nodded and the waiter lead us to a small table. "Order what you like. The soup might be best though. Warm." Rain gave a smile to Sahara.

Sahara shook her head "i don't get cold easily and i rather have something that'll help start bringing my blood back" She started to look thru some meat dishes glancing up briefly she saw how dry Rain was "Wow that thing is impressive.." She touched the cloak "It's like you had an umbrella"

Rain laughed. "Yeah it’s special alright." She paused, where she had taken them was a place where undead and living alike came. Though more dead than anything came here, and they knew who Rain was. Rain tucked her hand with the gauntlet deeper into her sleeve and placed it on her lap. “Lets see if I can convince her without proof first.” She thought. She spoke now "So, what will you order? They have a really good beef stew that goes great with a steak." Rain smiled.

“Beef stew alone sounds good; steak is a bit much.” Sahara giggled “I don't think i should be celebrating a head injury as well.”  Rain laughed. "Celebrate surviving it and coming out with no permanent damage." Sahara shook her shook my head "its fine, beef stew will be best"

Rain nodded, when the waiter came back she gave Sahara’s order of some beef stew and a potato soup for herself. She added that she would also like some water. The waiter looked to Sahara for her drink.

“Watermelon soda if you guys have it here" the waiter nodded and started off. Sahara looked to Rain "those men you were with, the twins, they look like they are from Gotita..." She was a bit concerned recalling this “how did they get to tormenta?” She wondered to herself.

"They are, they came here for work, not everyone supports the war going on as I’m sure you know. Anyways they work for a man, my boss in a sense. I just watch over them, make sure they don't get too hurt or killed." Sahara frowned "hurt or killed? Sounds like dangerous work."

"It can be if they aren't careful. Like I said, that's what I am there for. They are safe I assure you." Rain gave a smile. Sahara nodded "what kind of work is it...or is that secret?"

Rain was silent a moment then spoke with dead seriousness. "They hunt demons and I take souls. I'm a Reaper, not to be confused with Death. He is a whole other being in himself." A silence fell over the table for a moment “She will likely not believe this at all, but it is the truth. And I am prepared to prove this to her.” Rain thought to herself.

Sahara laughed "I guess your work is secret then, that's fine." She smiled. She figured the whole thing to be a joke once more. Rain shook her head. "I suppose you'll see for yourself soon enough." The waiter came back with their food. Rain decided to wait for Sahara to eat first before scaring her. Rain started to eat her own soup, the warmth was very nice.

Sahara smirked "is that a threat?" She started to eat “Such silly people.” She thought. Rain shook her head, smiling. "No not at all. Merely a statement. How long have you lived here?"

"Well in this town just a few hours, but where i lived at before was much longer. I lived in that city since i was about 4" Sahara answered with a smiled glad they moved on from the silliness and were having a pleasant conversation. "Where was that?" Rain questioned. “Copo de Nieve" Sahara sighed "Unfortunately it's been taken over by the military." Rain nodded “Seems to be happening a lot recently." Sahara  shook her head "sadly"

Rain finished her soup. She decided to give telling Sahara what was going on another try. "Do you believe in any kind of paranormal? Ghosts, undead, demons. Stuff like that?"

Sahara frowned cleaning off her face with her napkin "Not really, i mean i think we have souls but i don't know what happens to them after we die." Rain looked serious again "I take them for judgment." She stated rather calmly and plainly. "How do you think you are capable of making a weapon you want out of thin air? I saw how that rake came about, it wasn't normal." Sahara frowned "This isn't funny now." She was feeling like she was being teased, she did get a rather serious head injury and now people were trying to get her to believe in demons and reapers.

Rain shook her head. "I'm not joking. I understand this is very hard to hear, grasp. But this is not a joking matter, and I am not making fun of you my dear. I'm being very serious."

Sahara sighed when a waiter stopped by she looked to him “Can I get my food to go please.” He frowned and nodded walking away "I’ve had a really long day, I’m not in the mood for this ok" Sahara replied now. Rain sighed, standing up. "I tried doing this the easier way, since you have had a long day. I didn't want to overwhelm you. But since you refuse to even entertain the thought, I'll prove it to you." She held out her hand, as if she was holding a staff. Her scythe appeared, in its true form. Her clothes, once a more plain color mix of gray, white and blue, now a very dark raven black with a touch of blood red. My hood stayed down, my scythe was taller than me. "This is what I can look like for my work, my boss, Death, likes us to sport the iconic black robe and scythe. But I prefer looking more normal, not scare someone who has just lost everything." Rain hit the ground with my scythe hard, time around them froze. "I use this to avoid unnecessary witnesses." She opened a portal; it appeared only Rain and Sahara could still move "I use these dark portals, also called dead links, to travel wherever I need to. This is how the two heroes of yours got you to that hospital before you bled to death or received brain damage." Rain stated “I normally wouldn't do this to a human unless I was taking their soul, but this girl was pushing it. And when a person of her power and rarity was on their own, it could only get more dangerous for her.” Rain told herself.  Sahara’s heart felt like it stopped. She slowly stood up “I experienced a rather serious injury today and I’m hallucinating, so now i needed to go rest.” She told herself “that was all this was.” She started out of the restaurant.

"Rain i figured you could have done this slightly faster." The waiter who had gotten her food stepped out from the back undoing his tie he transformed into a slender tall older looking man, his hair was so white it was nearly clear and it reached down to his neck. His clothes looked a bit like a priests but at the same time held a very unusually old fashion quality to them. He tied his hair up and put on a pair of glasses. "You need to come with me Sahara, we don't have much time to waste." Sahara stood there a bit sheepishly something was familiar about this man. But right now to much was going on for her to try to figure out why. Rain shrugged. "I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt. I don't want to scare her too much but I guess I failed at that." Rain smiled. "At least I do my job right." Rain gave a small laugh. "Go easy on her, she's fragile." Rain didn't want to leave just yet. "So what are you planning then?"

The strange man adjusted his glasses “Well i will need the boys and Doctor Isay to come to my meeting room, collect them and be there as soon as possible Rain." He started toward Sahara. She stood her ground. The strange man frowned "Even without being raised by your parents you are adamant and stubborn. With no respect for your elders." Sahara looked up at him not speaking. He shook his head then reached out a hand opening a portal with his long black finger nails "Hurry thru" Sahara didn’t move right away. She looked to the strange man though she had a feeling even if she ran or tried to fight she wouldn’t have a choice. She slowly walked forward giving one last look to Rain then went thru.

Rain sighed. "Go easy on her, really. I know you don't owe me anything but please, she's strong but scared." Rain started back out “I knew what he really meant by 'as soon as possible'. It meant as soon as I leave, right now.” She thought to herself. “What i do with her is my business" Mr. Grim merely said as he stepped thru his portal and was gone.

Sahara looked around the area she was at was a very beautiful place actually. Everything was neat and clean and had a retro quality to them. A large podium like area was at the end of the room. She couldn't believe this was happening but after what she saw she really couldn't just let this all go or even try to tell herself she was hallucinating. She saw the tall man who had yet to identify himself walk to the podium and take a seat he looked to Sahara "I want you to sit on that center chair there, understand?" Sahara stared at him "Who are you..." He frowned "When i ask you to do something you should heed it. especially since this is all in your favor. Now sit" Sahara sighed and started over taking her seat. The strange man started to write some things down in a note book "I am the Grim Reaper, you are to refer to me as Mr. Grim if we encounter again or i call you here for other matters, do you understand?" Sahara gave a nod. He looked to her and frowned "Speak when you are being spoken to if I wanted silence I would ask for it." Sahara sighed "Yes...Mr. Grim." Mr. Grim wrote a few more things down. “He has a bit of a bug up his butt...” Sahara thought to herself

"I know you are wondering why your parents have been mentioned so many times, simply put they were demon hunters. Demon hunters are my servants. I approach those who are dying or have my reapers do so and see if a soul is willing to continue living or simply wishes to give up and move on. Those who want to live are given life once more but for a price. They must serve as demon hunters. The job title is self explanatory. But in case you have been nodding off it goes like this. There are demons out in the world hundreds, thousands, some even say millions and they are terribly annoying little bugs I much rather squish between my fingers then have to even glance upon them. They often cause more trouble than they are worth having around and when they become truly troublesome i have different groups of demon hunters hunt them down. One demon equals one year of life divided among the group. However long you wish to live is dependent on how many demons you wish to squash for me." He stopped writing and looked to Sahara "Understand?"

Sahara was about to nod but spoke instead "Yes Mr.Grim" This was all a bit much but it felt easy enough to grasp oddly. He spoke again "Now comes some of the rules. I require my demon hunters to follow a basic number of rules that are simple enough for any weak minded human to grasp. i require black clothing for your profession and I require black weapons since I can't be embarrassed by having you all run amuck with a rainbow of weapons. You are not allowed to mate with other demon hunters. There are other rules as well but those will be explained to you further along. I am not here to be your teacher." Sahara frowned a little concerned it sounded like she was getting a job interview almost. Actually it was a bit more of an orientation. Mr. Grim looked into Sahara eyes "Your parents broke the no mating rule and here you are a naturally born demon hunter, there has only been 2 others like you in the entire history of my work with you mortals and so i will explain what this means for you and the others when they arrive. Any questions so far?" Sahara sighed "what happened to my parents?"

Mr. Grim shook his head "Of course you’d ask that.” He leaned forward a little “They were striped of the life they were given, they were no longer allowed the pleasure of life because they had forsaken my rules." Sahara tensed "So you killed them?" He huffed "I cannot kill what is already dead, you in all your wondrous living splendor should have never happened.” He spoke dryly “Your mother truly died when she was 10 and your father was dead at 14. They never met prior to being arranged into a hunting group after they had died and thus the unfortunate consequences began." Sahara shook her head "hardly seems fair.." He narrowed his eyes "That is only because you don't understand what you are and what trouble this is for me. You should be thanking me for letting you live. i took the life of the first one like you and i let the second one get out of grasp so i am not going to let you be a problem for me."

Sahara sighed. She hated being talked down to. "Why is my weapon a rake?" She decided to change the subject. Hearing him talk about the parents she had never met like this was rather upsetting. Mr. Grim tapped a finger on his podium "Smart girl.” He knew she was changing the subject. “I figured I’d have to explain that to you. Your weapon is a reflection of yourself, a rake is representative for the need to control and collect the pieces of your life.” Sahara gave a slow nod that actually sounded a lot like her. Mr. Grim continued “The twins rope is of their eternal bond. If you wish to know more simply ask another hunter they will usually have an explanation." Sahara nodded she had more questions but she decided to wait. She wanted to take in what she learned, process it and get her words out correctly.

Meanwhile Rain appeared through a portal before Sua. "Well that might have gone better. Mr. Grim came by and took her for a talk." Rain sighed. "He also wants to see you, me, and your brother."

Sua frowned he was in the middle of playing video games in the home he shared with Fide. His room was littered with clothing and various video games "What really?" he sighed and called out "Fide we need to go" Fide walked in "To where and why?" Sua pointed to Rain "She says Mr. Grim wants to see us cause of that girl we saved." Fide shook his head "How did i know that would come back on us." He shook his head "Let us get dressed and we'll come. Sua huffed turning of his game and grabbing his black clothes he went to the bathroom to change. Fide went to his own room to do the same.

Rain stood, waiting, pulling up her hood. Mr. Grim would rather Reapers look the part, and having the hood up was part of it. But with it up, she looked like Death himself. Her face was hidden away in darkness of her hood, both hands covered by black cloth, one bearing a gauntlet the other a glove. She didn't like looking so terrifying or her talks with Mr. Grim for that matter. “He made me a reaper, rather than a hunter” She told herself silently. She gazed to the hand with a gauntlet “I can understand how that girl feels right now though I suppose it was due to my hand that I ended up like this. I wasn't given a weapon when I choose to live on, I became one. It was the first time it had ever happened, other reapers were born that way not created.”

Sua came back in similar clothes he had on earlier a black sweater and black skinny jeans his hair parted in the same way as his brother’s, covering their right eyes, but now the colorful strands of hair were hidden under the rest of his hair. Fide was wearing similar clothing but looser pants; he didn't like his movement to be restricted. It was a bit hard to tell the difference between the two other then clothing though and their personality the only other clue you would have was hidden away. "We’re ready" Fide stepped thru the portal Sua followed.

Sahara was still sitting thinking about what she was told; she remembered the birthmark on the center of her back everyone said it looked like a scythe. She wondered if there was some conection to anything happening now.

Sua and Fide appeared they took their seats on the left of Sahara. Sua smiled and waved to her. Fide simply looked to Mr. Grim. She gave a faint smile to Sua. “He’s pretty nice.” She thought “Though for a twin he seems rather different from his brother, his brother seems much more stern. a lot like Mr. Grim even.” She looked to the portal, she  started to wonder why all these people had to be here. Mr. Grim spoke "She is taking her time getting the Doctor isn't she." he huffed taking some notes down.

Rain had gone through a portal to the Doctor’s office and stepped through. "Evening Doc, I need to borrow you, that alright?" Doc frowned he was filling out paper work "Is someone hurt?" he stood up “Not yet. Mr. Grim would like to speak with you, me and my twins about that girl we saved." Rain changed the portal she came through "After you." She stated. Doc frowned "I don't like where this is going." He went thru the portal. Sahara saw him come in and frowned “He’s here to?” She was worried now. “Are they going to get punished for saving me...” she thought with great concern. Mr. Grim tapped his finger waiting for Rain to arrive so he could begin. Rain stepped through, giving a smile to Sahara, then stood next to her. "Sorry I was late, wanted to make sure everyone got here alright."

Mr. Grim nodded "fine” He took on a rather serious expression “I suppose you four are wondering why you are here.” He paused looking over everyone “I want to make sure this anomaly you all managed to rescue doesn't become another headache to me." he looked to Sahara "As I explained earlier your parents were demon hunters and the years they get to live from killing demons were taken. The problem is I now have about 80 years of life that have no place. Considering that you have been living off nonexistent life I’ve decided to allow you the years of life they earned but there are conditions. You are to kill a demon once a week until you are 55 when you are allowed to retire. These boys will be part of your team during this work and Ms. Rain will be the one overseeing your work. Doctor Isay will be giving you a home to stay at to ensure you are being properly watched over and he will be the only doctor you are allowed to see."

Doc spoke up "Sir I’m retired I don't..." Mr. Grim cut him off "You have no choice." Sua and Fide tried to speak next "Is the kill going to count for us at all?" They spoke at the same time. Mr.Grim shook his head "No." They frowned looking rather upset. Sahara looked to both of them and sighed "Mr. Grim this is very unnecessary. I have to object to this a little." He was about to cut off Sahara but she spoke louder "You said that a demon's death means a year of life right, why can't I give the year I would have earn extra to them. I owe them for saving me in the first place and Rain already offered me a place to stay I don't need to be a bother Doctor Isay." Mr. Grim was glaring at me. I continued "I accept everything else; I’ll even keep working past 55 if you can at least compromise." Mr. Grim folded his hands in front of him there was silence as Sahara kept her eyes on him. Sua and Fide even Doc stared at her surprised she had talked back and was not punished.

Rain smiled at Sahara though then looked to Mr. Grim. "I'll even gather double the souls for you in exchange for her compromise if it will please you?" Rain already gather three times what was required of her, which is one of the reasons she was sure Mr. Grim tolerated her frequent tardiness, but with the recent military getting gun happy, she had plenty to do.

Mr. Grim tapped his fingers together "You will live with Rain and your extra years will go to the twins. But Doctor Isay is still going to be your only physician. In addition to this you will have to receive a second mark as exchange." Sahara frowned "Second mark?" Mr. Grim huffed "Your birthmark on your back is similar to the death marks demon hunters normally get" He looked to Sua, Fide and Doc. Sua and Fide stood before Sahara moving their hair to show their markings. Sua had a marking on the right side of his head while Fide had a mark on the right side of his head. Doc moved in and opened his shirt over his heart was a marking. “They are just like my birthmark.” Sahara said quietly. They took their seats again. Mr. Grim continued "I will make a special one for you, since you are neither dead nor alive. Do you comply with this?" Sahara nodded "Of course" He stood up stepping down from the podium and over to Sahara. "The twins, Doc and Rain are going to be your support for years to come, you will only see me when truly necessary, for any questions you may have or troubles you experience you are to ask them for guidance." Sahara nodded sitting a bit taller with Mr. Grim so close. Mr. Grim reached out removing the scarf from Sahara’s head.

Mr. Grim frowned seeing the dried blood, he carefully touched the bandage on her head "I should mark you here, but i believe your marking should be more visible." He moved his hand down to her face. “His touch…it feels strangely familiar” She thought. His hand stopped under her right eye he circled his nail about the size of a pea. "Yes...this seems fitting." Sua tensed as did Fide. Doc slowly started to form words but before he could Mr. Grim began to press his nail in the circle he made removing some flesh. Sahara winced but didn't make a sound. When he finished he cleaned his nail on her scarf then started out "You all may go" Sahara’s eyes held no tears but she was gripping her hands very tight. Doc hurried over and began to tend to it. To his surprise the cut was like the death mark but inverted. He shook his head "That was highly unnecessary in your condition I’m sorry he did that." Sahara shook her head "I’m ok, it needed to be done." She sighed a faint tear coming now. Doc wiped it away for her. Sua frowned "Damn you’re pretty tough" Fide simply nodded "Thank you for your sacrifice…" Rain walked over and created a portal. "We should go, he hates loitering."

Doc sighed "Just a second" he managed to bandage up the wound. Sua carefully took Sahara’s hand and gave her a hug "Thanks." Sahara got faintly red. Fide pulled him away "We need to go." Sua waved and caught up to Fide as they walked to the portal. Fide spoke "Is this for us to get home?"

“It’s just getting us out, it’s actually for the Doctor office. Now let’s go everyone." Rain answered. Fide sighed and went thru, Sua followed. Doc led Sahara thru. Rain followed through as the portal closed behind her.  Once in Doc’s Office she smiled at the twins "Thanks for the help." Rain then made a portal for Sua and Fide.

Fide went to the portal Sua placed a hand on Sahara’s shoulder "See you when you’re ready to hunt ok" he smiled then went thru with Fide. Doc cleaned his hands and got some medicine, pain killers "I meant to give you this earlier, if you need them." Sahara shook my head "I’ll be fine thank you" Her voice was somewhat quiet. He frowned "Well take a colder shower then normal when you get to Rain’s, drink plenty of water and have her held you rebadged the wound when you’re done getting cleaned up ok" Sahara nodded "Thank you"

"I'll do it, don't worry Doc she's in good hands. You know that." Rain gave him a smile. He nodded he looked to Sahara "I don't believe i got your name" Sahara smiled slightly "Sahara Wahid" he smiled back "Very pretty, you can call me Doc but my name is Aziz Isay" Sahara smiled more "Doc seems the most appropriate" He sat down "I suppose" He let out a small sigh of relief it seemed to have been a long night for him to.

Rain gave a smile to the Doc. "Thanks again for your help. I hope we won’t be seeing you anytime soon, so take care of yourself. That way we have stories to exchange." She gave a small laugh, opening a portal for them. "After you Sahara." Sahara gave a small wave then went thru. Doc waved back "Take care you two" he took the rake and handed it to Rain "For when she is ready." Rain nodded, taking it. "Thanks again." She walked through, the portal closed. They were in Rain’s home, it was very large, made of stone but had a very nice modern look to it. Marble covered the floors, stair ways, and counters. "Welcome to my home, it’s now yours as well so feel free to make it so alright?" She gave Sahara a smile and a wink. "I can show you to your room if you want to lay down? I'm sure it might be for best with that head of yours."

Sahara nodded "I’m still a bit hungry from earlier but laying down would be good....did you always know I’d be coming here?” Rain looked a little more serious but held her smile “As soon as I saw you fight, I knew. Before that, no. I'm a reaper, not a fortune teller." She gave a small smirk. "How about I show you the room, you get settled in and I bring some food to you? Sound good?" Sahara smiled "You’re rather motherly.”

Rain gave a laugh. "I suppose I am. I find it gets a better response rate than being mean to people all the time. Especially when they are going through the biggest change in their life. Speaking of which." She changed out of her reaper clothes and back to what she was wearing before. Her scythe disappeared. "Sorry about that, really." She started to lead. "This way please." Sahara followed "why does he make you all dress like you’re going to funeral?" Rain looked back at her. "I'm a Reaper, black is the color of death and despair in a sense. He is Death, actual death, we work for him it’s our uniform."

Sahara sighed "But why not let you wear whatever you wish, i mean it seems a bit odd to force everyone to wear black" Sahara shrugged "but that's just me, I’m not sure how much he's expecting me to wear but i think i might just wear my normal clothes with a black ribbon in my hair" Rain shook her head. "Not in his presence, my dear. I won’t let you, I've seen someone approach him without all black or mostly black and he....doesn't like it. But for work, it’s expectable. I'm your overseer so it’s my call in the end, and I agree with you. It’s a depressing color; I won’t make you wear all black. Just when he is around, can you do that for me please?" She gave a smile. Sahara frowned "I don't have all black clothing though"

Rain gave a faint laugh "I'll buy some for you, it’s not a big deal." She patted her arm a bit and opened the door to a room. It was massive and cozy looking, warm, yet simple. "Decorate it however you wish, it’s your room. Sorry that it’s so limited in options, but a smart and talented woman like you, I’m sure you will do just fine." Rain smiled more. Sahara gave a small laugh "You assume that I’m talented, all you've seen me do is get captured, hurt, and yelled at."

"I watched you fight off something that terrified you, but did it anyway. You're brave, and talented as a demon hunter. You don't see it yet, but I do. I see a lot in you that you don't." Rain smiled. Sahara shook her head "Well until i see it, it doesn't exist." Rain grabbed her by the shoulders. "You will." She slowly smirked. "Now go lay down, I'll be right up with some food." She started to leave. Sahara sat down; she saw her bags here that she thought she had left in the restaurant. She started to look thru some things until she found a picture. Sahara smiled “These people had been my parents most of my life…” She thought to herself as she sat the picture down. “I'm sure my birth parents loved me to, but I don't have a picture of them, or any idea who they are. Even if I find out more about my birth parents these are my real parents…they were the ones who raised me after all.” She stared at the picture everyone was smiling.

Rain made a quick meal, a soup and some toast with a peeled orange, a glass of water and apple juice. Rain came back to the room, all the food on a serving tray. "Here you are, sorry I thought you would be rather hungry so I made a soup. Its quick, I hope that's alright?"

Sahara looked to Rain "Yes, thank you. I could have cooked and stuff myself though. You didn't have to do all this." She smiled the food smelled great either way. "Its called, hospitality sweetheart. What kind of host would I be?" Rain laughed. Sahara shook my head "I’m living here right? I believe we are just roommates. Thank you all the same"

Rain smiled but put her hand on her hip acting firm "You do live here now, but as a first night in your new home. It’s a sort of 'welcome home' hospitality. And you’re welcome." Rain started out. "Sleep well Sahara."

Sahara frowned "wait...we aren't going to hang out a little, I’d like to get to know you better...or are you saving that for breakfast tomorrow?" Rain stopped, smiling back at her, then walked over again. "Well I can stay; I just thought you wanted rest. I didn't want to keep you from it." She pointed at the edge of the bed. "Do you mind?"
"of course not" She smiled and started to eat a little. Rain took a seat. "So, girl talk or business?" She asked with a small laugh. Sahara cleared her throat a little “I’m not very girly despite my appearance. But I actually just wanted to get to know you better. I mean you’re a reaper I didn't know you guys needed homes among humans."

“It’s sort of to keep up appearances. I like to feel human, after dying I didn't want to lose it. Mr. Grim didn't like it but he let me have a house." Sahara’s eyes widened "but he didn't mention people turning to reapers....where's your death mark?" Sahara bit her lip "sorry...that's asking a lot" Rain smiled shaking my head. "It’s alright." She held out her gauntlet covered arm. "This is my death mark. I'm unique, my arm is slowly decaying. If anyone touches my arm or my hand, they lose their soul. Mr. Grim saw this special thing about me, and made me a reaper."  Sahara frowned "oh....so this isn't a regular occurrence then right?" Rain shook my head. "No not at all. I'm the first and no one knows why."

“how odd" Sahara paused for a moment "do you think maybe one of your parents was a demon hunter?  i mean that must do something to your body in some way" Rain shook her head. "My parents raised me; they were not killed, well not until the day I died. We all died together." Sahara nodded "I see, I’m sorry that happened"

"Its fine, in the past." Rain pointed at her arm. "So, this isn't something to touch, just saying." She gave a small laugh. Sahara smiled "i'll keep it in mind" Rain smirked "Good, anything else you would like to know?" Sahara thought for a bit then spoke "What do you know about the twins and Doc...or should i wait to talk to them myself?"

Rain smiled "Well, the Doc has been around a very long time. He is wise and a tough man. I think asking him about more would be appropriate. The twins....they used to be connected at the head, that's actually how they died, when they were separated. Been demon hunters under me ever since."

Sahara eyes widened "oh my...they seem so different from each other it's strange to think they were...that close" Sahara sighed "and the Doc with his mark over his chest...i wonder what happened to him." Sahara bit her lip a little “This all seemed a bit sad…I probably shouldn’t have asked” She thought to herself. Rain sensed Sahara’s distress "Sad topic, how about something else?" She wanted to help move things along.

Sahara was nearly done eating "Well, i guess if you have some questions for me i wouldn't mind answering. i think i can just take in what i've learned about my new life today and learn the rest when i come to it"

"Like is a good teacher. A sometimes harsh one but a good one." I thought. "Did you already tell me why you moved here?"

Sahara nodded "the army, i wasn't lying about it. Though I’m alone because my other parents, the ones who raised me, had to go to their real children" Sahara pointed to them in the picture. “Their real children? Why didn't they take you with?" Rain frowned a little.

"Well they offered a number of times but I knew me coming would make traveling much harder on them, I didn't want to be a burden and so I told them I was fine being left behind. they gave me a good bit of the money the army gave them for our home and well it's about time I grow up anyways" Sahara smiled "i mean i'm 19 the orphanage would have made me live on my own by now" Rain nodded. "Still, its better to go out on your own of your own choice. But I understand their reasons, I'm glad I could at least help. Its hard finding a place to live out here."

"i'm sure, i knew i'd have a hard time but i wanted just a bit longer in my home before the army took over...i guess fate had a plan in a way huh?" Rain nodded. "Usually does. So in your short time here, what do you think?" Sahara smiled "Might be fun staying here" she thought "where is the local orphanage though, i have this hobby I’d like to keep up while I’m here...oh and what is the job market like?" Rain frowned “Weak” Rain smiled a little now “and I can take you to the orphanage tomorrow if you like." Sahara looked a little concerned but smiled "thank you, i guess getting a job will be priority one to"

Rain shrugged "I guess so, but don't stress it." Sahara nodded "i won't but i rather not be a burden on you, i have enough money to help cover expenses for a few months i think" Rain shook my head. "Sweetie, I don't worry about expenses. Mr. Grim had it arranged that this looks like it’s abandoned and haunted. The lights and water, heating goes unnoticed. Neat right? Money for food and luxury is all you need money for." I smiled. Sahara’s eyes widened "oh....i guess i'll keep in mind not to bring the orphans here then.."

"We can do something else for them, like a park or a pool." Rain offered with a smile. “She must do volunteer work” Rain thought to herself. Sahara thought on this then nodded "that’s what i was thinking; normally i take them out once a month to have some fun."

“That's very sweet of you." Rain replied. Sahara smiled "well i knew a girl who did the same for me when i was younger, i felt it's the least i could do"
Rain perked up “Wow, that's really amazing." Sahara got a bit red "well like i said it's the least i could do, i mean there are people who actually adopt the children, i really can't do that." Sahara gave a small laugh. Rain put my hand on her shoulder. "Its a very kind gesture even still." Rain gave a smile. Sahara smiled "thank you...i think i'm going to get some rest now ok" Rain nodded. "Sleep well."She stood up.
Sahara handed the plates and things over to Rain "Thanks, you to." Rain left shutting off the lights. Sahara closed her eyes and laid down. “i can’t wait to wake up tomorrow. i mean part of it is because I want to make sure i am better tomorrow after all of the changes in my life. But I actually couldn’t wait to get started i wanted to know more about all this demon hunting stuff even though it’s morbid. i feel like i have made good friends even if they are my coworkers though. Maybe we can all be even more then that, Maybe I have found a new family.”

*end of episode one*
Hello Everyone. First I would like to thank you or giving this original story a chance. ^_^ You are awesome lol.

Anyways this is Grim patrol a story about a girl becoming a demon hunter working for death. The world she lives in is a lot like earth except it is almost always night time there. This is an rp I co-authored with a long time friend of mine. Because of some recent interest (and also needing a small break from writing the Ib script) I decided to start working on editing the story (removing it from rp format and cleaning up the story line, grammar etc.) It's still a rather rough draft but I hope it's still readable for you all.

When I came up for this idea i really pictured it to be like an anime or tv show. so the story is broken up into "Episodes" which is how it will be posted. Each "Episode" Is fairly long so it will take a bit to time for me to update this not to mention that i don't have it all off the writing site the rp was done on. So bear with me. In addition if you see anything like a character being refereed to as "I" like (I smiled) please let me know so i can fix it to the proper character. the same thing goes for anything with we or us. (we left, the demon attacked us) Like i mentioned it's being converted from an rp format so the characters we wrote as (Sahara for me and Rain for my friend) need to have their names placed in there so it can be in 3rd person.

Thank you all again for reading the story or even this description or both. ^_^ Don't be afraid to comment or note me.
